It’s a privilege to rejoin the Board as President-Elect to help carry its mission forward. These are challenging times across academia, research, and industry, but I continue to feel thankful for the strength, warmth, and generosity of the ASB community. Being part of such a supportive and forward-thinking society is a true privilege, and I look forward to helping ASB grow, connect, and support its members in meaningful ways.

Planning future ASB meetings is an early and exciting focus of my role, and I’m collaborating with the Board to set things in motion. We are currently converging on fantastic locations for the 2027 and 2028 meetings! Look for the announcements in the coming months. When so many things in our world feel challenging, communities like ASB matter more than ever. It’s the energy, creativity, and generosity of our members that keep us all moving forward and doing impactful work.
