There are a few items to report from the Treasurer’s perspective:

• We are in a steady financial position with a balance of $136,965 in our operating budget and $248,429 in long-term investments. Thank you for renewing your memberships!
• 80% of the Nike Inc. funds have been disbursed to support ASB efforts to increase the diversity of biomechanics as a discipline and increase access to opportunity for under-represented biomechanists. See the update from the Diversity Committee on B-SURE and GRADE for more information on these programs supported by Nike.
• We experienced a few hiccups with the transition to Podium management services but most of these have been remedied allowing us to focus on strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
• Starting a Corporate Partnership with the American Society of Biomechanics is a great way to gain exposure for your company and support the Biomechanics community. So far, ASB has received $17,500 due to this new initiative.
• At this point in the year, ASB revenues exceed our expenses. Award checks will be going out soon!
