We are excited to close another great year for ASB! This year we saw expansion of many programs and more involvements from our community. Again, the society gave the value of ~$100,000 back to the membership in the form of awards, meeting registrations, and grants. We had higher than expected donations from Nike for support of the B-SURE program, and we saw another year of increased member donations. Additionally, we had ~200 more attendees at our meeting in Madison than we budgeted for. Finally, we worked hard to formalize some of our financial policies, opened a fully liquid Money Market account, and changed our Investment Partner, all leading to a good year financially for the society.

Looking forward:

With the success in 2024 we move forward into 2025 with a strong financial outlook which will help us to keep membership and registration costs the same for 2025.  The Treasurer will continue to train the Treasurer-Elect and begin the process of moving financial responsibility before the Treasurer-Elect takes office in August. We will continue to work with the Development Committee. We start off 2025 with distributing the 5 Regional Meeting Awards!
