ASB stands for the American Society of Biomechanics and ASB 2024 is the society’s 47th annual meeting. ASB 2024 will bring together biomechanics researchers from the United States and Canada for discussion and exchange of the most cutting-edge knowledge, insights, issues and ideas. ASB meets annually rotating throughout the United States and we’re pleased to host the 2024 meeting in Madison, Wisconsin. ASB Code of Conduct

Membership in professional societies, including the American Society of Biomechanics, has implied expectations for ethical behavior in research, teaching, and service to all segments of society.

As a member of the American Society of Biomechanics, I shall:

  • honor and respect the field of biomechanics by conducting myself responsibly, ethically, and lawfully.
  • hold paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public.
  • provide truthful, accurate, relevant and evidence-based information based upon my competence in the subject matter and knowledge of the facts and will disseminate without deception.
  • abide by the basic principles of respect of persons, beneficence and justice and comply with regulations in accordance with my institutional review board.
  • endeavor to increase the knowledge in my discipline and within reasonable limits of time and finance, shall make available that knowledge, skill and training to the public for the benefit of all.
  • disclose any conflicts of interest and will review the professional work of others fairly and in confidence.
  • recognize the contributions of others and will not associate or allow the use of their name on enterprise known to be illegal, fraudulent or of questionable character.
  • participate in activities contributing to the improvement of the biomechanics community.
registration instructions

To register as a Sponsor and/or Exhibitor for the 2024 American Society of Biomechanics Annual Meeting, please follow the below instructions:

  1. Click the button above to go to the Conference Manger Registration portal 
    1. Existing Account: If you have used the NEW Conference Manager 2.0 System before, on the landing page you may enter your email and password as normal. If you cannot remember your password, select the “Forgot Password” link under the “Forgot Password” heading. Enter your current email related to your user account, and you will be sent an email with instructions to reset your password. These credentials will also be required to register for the conference if you are also attending. Each attending representative will require an account.
    2. If you have NOT used the NEW Conference Manager 2.0 System before you must create an account. On the landing page, select “create user profile” under the New User heading. After you create your account, you will use your email, and new password to log into the system. These credentials will also be required to register for the conference if you are also attending. Each attending representative will require an account.
  2. Once you have logged in, the top middle tile of the dashboard will say “Registration” – click the link that says, “2024 ASB Sponsor & Exhibitor Registration”.
  3. Review the ASB Code of Conduct and the Exhibitor Terms and Conditions on the ASB website. You will be asked to agree to these terms during the registration process.
  4. Complete the registration of your organization. You will be asked for company and contact information, your preferences for booth types, other sponsor opportunities, and your payment information.
  5. Please note, the above form is to register your organization as a sponsor and/or exhibitor. For us to gather information on the representatives attending the conference, we will require an individual registration from each on-site representative. Registration is OPEN and you will receive an email with more information on how to register your representatives within one week of submitting the form.
