I’m excited to share the breadth of biomechanics research, which will be highlighted in the Awards Session at the upcoming annual meeting in Madison, WI.
Thank you to the wonderful ASB Awards Committee for managing all of the ASB awards and grants over the past few months, including Dennis Anderson, Kim Bigelow, Brian Davis, Max Diaz, Hugo Giambini, Virginia Liang, Clare Milner, Kota Takahashi, and Francesca Wade. Nearly 30 applications were submitted for our individual awards and competitive grants this year, and I’m proud of this committee and the nearly 60 ASB members who took time in March and April to review these applications.
We had 22 graduate students submit to participate in the three minute thesis competition, and I look forward to seeing the presentations from the finalists highlighted below.
Finally, there will be new opportunities to join our committee in the fall – please keep an eye out in our monthly ASB e-blasts for more information.
