Happy New Year from the Education Committee! I am hopeful that we are able to connect in person this August in Ottawa! For a more local and student-centered experience, the ASB supports several regional meetings each year. This year, the ASB is supporting 4-5 regional meetings. Please check the ASB website to find a meeting near you. If you’re thinking about hosting your own meeting in Spring 2023, the deadline for ASB support is September 30th each year. Again, details are on the ASB website.
The Education Committee is also responsible for reviewing the ASB Graduate Student Grant-in-Aid (GIA) proposals, which are due on January 15 each year. Each GIA award provides up to $2,000 for a graduate student research project; several are awarded each year. More information can be found here.
